About ObesityIntel — Who writes it and how

About ObesityIntel

ObesityIntel tracks the obesity drug market: clinical development, regulatory decisions, corporate moves and changes in how these treatments are paid for. It is written primarily for investors and industry professionals.

The goal is not to report everything first. The goal is to show precisely what changed, when, from what, on whose authority — and why it matters.

Who writes it

Zoltán Hermann. Business owner and private investor.

I am not a physician, not a pharmacist, and not a licensed investment adviser. What I do is follow publicly available primary sources — regulatory announcements, company disclosures, clinical trial registries, investor filings and trade press — and assemble them into a sourced, traceable picture of the market.

Where I lack expertise, I do not write as though I have it. I report clinical data and place it in context; I do not interpret it as medical opinion.

How the content is made

  • Primary sources first. Where a regulatory notice, company announcement or trial registry entry exists, I cite that rather than the coverage of it.
  • Every claim is sourced. Weekly editions and analyses carry a dated source list.
  • I separate what is what. Company claims, measured trial results, regulatory decisions and my own interpretation are labelled distinctly.
  • Use of artificial intelligence. I use AI for research, drafting and translation. Everything published is reviewed and approved by a human before it goes out. Nothing is published automatically.
  • Uncertainty is stated as uncertainty. If a result rests on a small sample, if there was no control group, or if a finding is preclinical rather than in people, I say so.

Corrections

I will get things wrong. When that becomes clear I correct it, and the correction stays visible — I do not quietly delete or rewrite earlier text.

If you find an error, write to the address below. Factual errors get corrected regardless of who reports them.

What this site is not

Not medical advice. Nothing here replaces a conversation with your doctor. Do not make treatment decisions based on it.

Not investment advice. The analysis here is general information, not a personalised recommendation, and does not account for your circumstances.

Not a complete database. We do not cover the whole market. We track the changes that matter clinically, in regulation, or competitively. Where something cannot be confirmed, we say so.
